Default Too subtle?

Whenever I see the ventshades on Bonneville'*, they look great! They compliment the car, and really set it off, flow with the lines, they just look good.

Put them on a Park Avenue, this is what happens:

The car just eats them up, and you really can't see them. They don't look bad, but they don't look as good as I thought they would. Thoughts?

Personally I don't like the window vents on most cars. I hate the fact you can see the little edge where it'* stuck on. I would want something with a cleaner look

My thoughts exactly. I am glad enough I didn't pay money for them, but I don't dislike them enough to take them off.

no kidding it eats them up. I think it is partly because your windows are already outlined/surrounded by black trim, so its hard to notice the vent shades after putting them on.

I have them on my car, but it came that way. I like the way they look and we have them on our Trailblazer as well. I guess it is just a matter of personal preference.

I was told they are for people who smoke, so that they can have the window cracked when it is raining..well I have them for appearance purposes lol

You know what.. I just looked at this picture of my car and realized mine has black trim around it too lol..so I'm not sure why yours eats them up like that
