No its not tan, its actually charcoal, but its uncovered vinyl, which is why it looks like a different color. I would like to cover it in leather eventually though. Been trying to go for a more updated look inside, so I am trying a little bit of everything from the parts bin.

I have a few different styles that I swap out from time to time when I get bored with one. I like the current one I'm using. I don't much care for the cobra one.

<---- With you. I have a cobra **** and don't much care for it. I never realized that they were so easy to swap. ....might have to go for a walk through the bone yard this weekend!

I tried them all. The 2000+ SSEi shifter is the most comfortable. At least for me.

i'd like to see more shots fropm farther away so i can see the real size (that goes for wills 2000+ shifter too)

It'* more of an ergonomic shape than the earlier T-handle shifters, and fits the hand very well. It'* angled just right, and the button travel is less, so it'* easier to press in.

You MUST get the leather boot, too. Your stock shifter boot (under the handle) won't fit the new style. Yours stops just below it, and the newer style actually shrouds the lower portion of the 2k shifter.
