Thats a nice car in great condition. I have always like those but the only issue I had with the special edition were the wheels, for some reason not crazy about them. Love the two tone leather, really adds to the interior. Good buy man!!!

Boy that truly is quite the additive to an already outstanding collection of rare Pontiacs.

Car looks to be in good shape, great find. Too bad the others have to go.

Thanks everybody!!

Hans - The plan here is to keep it a normal, reliable daily driver. Just something I can put gas in and drive without worrying about if it will get me there, and/or back, so I promised myself: NO MODS!!!

.....got my 3.4" pulley in the mail last week.

vital49 - Just cleared 113k miles. I saw this car listed on Autotrader almost a month before I broke down and went to look at it. Left it for last, because I figured "if these cars with much lower miles aren't holding up, what are the chances that something with 112k (at the time) miles will?" Well....it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I was actually looking for excuses NOT to buy it, because the thought of saying I have a new....100k mile car didn't exactly appeal to me. But after thinking it over for the night, I realized that was a ****-poor reason to not buy this car. And so far, it'* proven me right.

JimmyFloyd - To be honest, I'm not sure on production numbers for the Special Edition, or the 40th. Can't seem to find any info on that through the net. But you can bet I'll get them one way or another. Will be contacting Pontiac soon to see what they say.

GoldenBullet - Yeah, if I was going to buy a gen II GP, it had to be one of these, or a 40th. The ordinary GP'* look extremely plain and boring to me, so I knew I'd end up blowing a thousand or two buying a new spoiler, hood, exhaust tips, etc. I love everything the way it is on this car (though I wouldn't mind changing the wheels). Very subtle, and clean. I hate overdone cars.

ohenry5 - Yeah, most people don't care for them. Personally, I don't love them, but I don't despise them like most, either. The only thing I'd get rid of them for are the Bonneville GXP/Mille Miglia Evo 5/Sport Edition KV5 wheels.

radomirthegreat - Thanks. I do what I can. I've done sigs for a few people on various clubs, such as...

and my sister'*...
