your rear blinkers are awesome, you think you can tell us a little more about how you did it and what products you used, where bought, etc. etc. You have a real original look going there, if you get a spoiler it will look really sweet.

Yep, the light shines through the lenses like the paint was never there.

I used primary red, waterbased, stainglass paint and clear cloat that I got at an artsy fartsy store plus some tape. The paint came in a plastic bottle with a pointed tip for applying it. It does settle and even out real nice even though it'* not spray paint. If the paint doesn't run and is pretty thick this will not work.
I used about 4 ounces of paint for the two lenses.

I guess I'll write some instructions for ya.

Fisrt clean the lense real good w/ some glass pluss or something.
Next run tape along the bottom tapered edge of the top lense. Then run tape along the other sides of the bottom lense. You may want to fashion the tape so that it will catch the pain since it does run.
Then apply a thick coat of paint back and fourth across the top of the lense. Do the tapered sides last since the paint may just run onto the sides eventually.
After making sure that the paint is as consistant/even as possible let it sit to dry. It took about 5 hours for mine to fully dry.
If it didn't turn out good after it dried then just run some hot water over it and scrape it off with something dull and plastic.
If it looks good then apply several layers of clear coat. I used 5. The clear coat is important cause if it rains ur in trouble.
Now all you have to do is let that dry and your finnished.

Sounds pretty simple. I have a 97, so my rear lights are different from yours, but I hope that the process turns out well. Thanks for all of the info!
