So, Joel rolled in last night from Red Deer about 10 pm (3.5hrs from Red Deer). His LIM was leaking on the exhaust cross-over side from the lim gasket runner itself, it actually popped out..not sure why, leaking about a quart of oil in 500 miles.
New Gaskets and copper sealent, good to go.
3 hours. Kyle from work showed up half way though and helped out to.

Chillin after working way to hard...not..

Looking good. Glad the repair went well.
Hopefully you didn't get too much grass in the engine.
Good to keep a nice clean leak free engine.
Did you replace the PCV valve. That might have created the excessive crankcase pressure which blew out the seal........or maybe just too much blow by the rings. :?

We changed the oil twice today. I went around and resealed all vacuum lines and ports.
PCV, thats a good idea. I'll make sure we do that soon. Ill be back in Red Deer in a few weeks.
We did a good engine clean at the car wash next door, nothing else as it was raining.

I resealed that leaky vaccuum line yesterday with teflon tape and a little electrical tape. Everything else seems to be fine, no more leaks finally
Oh, and my Aeroforce gauge should arrive this morning
