Heat Shieldfor the CAI
So, I finally got around to building my heat shield. I want to thank Pat (1993_SLE) and Bill (Willren) for the ideas I stol...borrowed to build this:
The shield was built right around the filter and the pipe runs into it. The IAT recepticle runs through the shield and the sensor plugs in on the outside. I used lexan plastic and reflectix heat reflecting material.
The best part is that the shield acts as a solid support for the whole box.

VERY good Idea, that looks awesome!
I would be willing to bet, that will block alot of unwanted heat
Nice work.
