Any residue or a warp in the paint left behind??
There was a lot of adhesive still stuck on the hood, but I carefully pulled it off and used Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover to get the sticky sh** off. There are a couple small scratches, probably from when I pryed a corner off so I could get my hand under them, but nothing bad at all. No discoloring or anything. I still have to wax my car this year, and after I clay it it will look like they were never on the hood. I like my new look much better.

Anyone want a pair of hood scoops? J/K

I forgot to mention that I think the hood scoops look considerably better on a SSE or SSEi than an SE like mine.

It would be fun to go for periods at a time with them on and then with the scoops off.

I might be interested in the scoops if you really really wanna sell them, id make em fuctional probably though I would probably cut away the bottom underneath the front, and have some tubing from each intake go into the air filter/intake. Wouldn't be too hard, and it would look sweet, but youd have your hood connected to your engine so opening it would take some thought.

If you want to make them functional, let me know. I doubt I'll get around to putting them on again if I made them functional. They are green and have the 3800 V6 badges on them. You'll have to paint them unless you find a green one like mine So I'll hold onto them. My friend may want them once he finds out I took 'em off, but he wouldn't want to pay me for them. Email me if you ever want them.

Well a lot of green ones are around, and a nice 92 SSE, which wouldn't be bad. Those badges are pretty sweet, so if i have a hankering for them, ill get back to you! GImme a month or so though my parents don't wanna have fun getting a car they are drawing it out, im losing sleep! I wake up in the middle of the night, and think about driving a Bonnie at night at the local spots. I WANT IT NOW! This forum isn't helping me at all either.

Well as I said, I took my scoops off to find out I'm SO happy I did!! I like the look much better, especially with the eyebrows.

I took some pics today and will have some up by tomorrow. Then I'll clay it and wax it and have those pics up by the end of the week, if the weather cooperates.

Thanks guys! I wish my car WAS mint. After I fix my little rust problem it will be close to mint, now that I have my new bumper and paint job on ~1/2 the car. The pic in the sig was exactly a year ago at a car show. And I didn't even clay it! My car will look like that soon after I wax it and detail it again.
