I learned quick on this....get something small to work on. Get the technique down and realize the effort that is needed.

You may change your mind about how far you go on polishing in that case.

yah... im with bill.. for the hours spend on the rotor plate alone, i cannot image the work the guys that did my case spent on it

you will need a die grinder with an aluminum polishing pad on it to get it anywhere near smooth enough to begin polishing

I did a reasonable job on my TB adapter plate and the snout of my SC. Lot of hours.

i got the duct tape off no problem.. lots of careful attention to detail as i occasionally sprayed some superclean on it..

i am impressed with my work

nope.. but i like pics

the charger might go together this weekend.. and i will have all my gaskets by then, so i might be able to get the motor done, except for the exhaust

How the HELL did I miss this thread? I can't believe I never realized that was only POLISH either
