I think the safest and darkest level of tinting is 35% personally. Police don't seem to be too picky over that tint % and it'* not too light, and it'* not so dark you can't see into the car.

lol. That'* what people are supposed to look like when they're in shape. JDB works on a farm full time pretty much so I'm sure he'* probably in pretty good shape.

Hey JDB...lookin good! Can't wait to see the car here in a few more weeks. Enjoy.

I've got 20% tint all the way around and i think it'* perfect. To be honest, i wouldn't go any darker though. 20% is illegal, but the cops in Indiana don't really enforce the tint law at all. For a black SSEi, i'd recommend anywhere between 20-35%

Are you sure your numbers are correct? For some reason, the rear doors look darker than the front ones. But maybe that'* just the sunroof effect.

It looks great!

There'* a discussion on the previous page that answers your question.

And I've made an appointment to change the rear doors over to 35% cause i just don't like the change in % tint. Thanks for the compliments guys!

JDB: what do you mean 'the guy'* insurance'? How would somebody'* insurance pay for your tint?

Looks nice, but I do have to agree with 1993SLE, the differentiating tint does look kinda weird.. but it'* better than my 100% tint
