Correct........ the % when talking about tint is general the amount of light that is able to pass thru..... so %5 is MUCH DARKER then %50..... because only 5% of the light gets thru..... %50 tint lets 1/2 the light thru......get it?

Bill..... you're baiting us.... don't reply to this..... (or I'll delete it)
I used 15% on both my rides....... I think 15% is a very good amount.... go with that.

Feel free to checkout my website to see the tint on my rides.... the 97 has always had 15%, but the 91 used to have 35%.

You might wanna check to see what is legal in your state first.

depends on what is legal in CT, unless you want to get pulled over. Tint always looks darker on dark cars

Actually I wasn't baiting you. I was seriously looking to find out how much tint to put on. Of course I would be checking my local laws as well.

PS...Thanks for last night. Pretty funny that you couldn't keep up with one guy who was dealing with 3-4 instant messages and posting.

Mr. Bill we have a 35% or 36% law here in MA and CT (can't remember which), and then you have to compensate for the slight tint that is already in the window. I used Mr. Tint in W.Springfield, Just Rite Auto trim on Boston Road in Springfield is another good place. About $180 if I remember correctly.

Lookin' good.

I am really torn myself. I want to get tint for the black out look...but I don't want to get tickets up the wazzo because you can't have any tint on the fronts here in MI. I don't know what to do.
