Looks awesome! I've considered buying a HID kit before but I don't know where you buy them.. also, to install, do you just plug the bulb into your headlight just like a regular bulb? Do they come with a 9006/ 9005 fitment so you can always go back to stock later on if you want? Inquiring minds need to know.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Yes, stock foglamps. They took me about two hours to install, you have to mount a ballast and starter in-between the existing headlamp wiring harness. The manufacturer recommended a relay with clean power to the battery, but I decided that the stock system could deliver enough current (50 amp fuse). The polarity of the stock wiring had to be switched.
I could go back to the halogens fairly easily.

Damn, the inside of that thing looks like a damn fighter cockpit! Especially with that electronic compass, hehe. In the immortal words of Cartman, "Sweeeet..."
:P
:P
Those look great, however did you readjust your headlights after installing?
Cars that come from the factory with HIDs have different lenses than those that have regualar halogen lights because HID lights are so bright. In fact the D.O.T. went after all the sellers of HID kits on the Internet because the glare from HID kits using halogen lenses was pretty bad....
I think its great you want better light at night but please be sure you aren't blinding other traffic...
You might see if GM offers a European headlight lense. If Pontiac sold the Bonneville in Europe than you could get the European lenses which have a much much better lense pattern than the U.*. setup.
