WOW, that is an old pic!
I don't think i would EVER trust a scissor jack to be used like you have it in the back.....I'd much rather trust 4 - 7 yr olds to hold my car up.
eh, it was what I used at the time. It'* the bonnie'* spare tire jack

Those OEM jacks scare me to...I have one the rivet broke in scissors part and another that bent almost in half. OK the bent one was used on a 3500 dodge dually but I would never get under one again.

True... And part of the reason I had to get a 3 ton floor jack and Jack stands... also have the 9000 GVWR Ramps.. Hated those OEM jacks..

It was jacked from the reciever hitch at the time. That hitch is now on the SLE, not on the SSEi.

I gotta say that I've never made mine hover, lol, but I have a pair of 6-ton jack stands I use on the Ranger. I don't need the capacity as much as the height.

Cheapies from Harbor frieght. I was chastised on a Ranger forum for buying these for $23 as they were "cheap", but my rebuttal was, "If they are rated for 6 tons and I'm using them for a truck that weighs well less than 2 tons, what'* the argument?").
