No I never noted it. I wondered about the tranny also. I took a '90 3.1 rebuilt it .030, low to mid range Crane comp-u-cam, 1.52 roller tip rockers, Stage 2 Jet chip K&N of course and I beat-up some of my fellow Camaro owners! But it tore up the 125C 3-speeds that was in it. The SSEi replaced it. I've been itching to build anuther but have it stick. This turbo got my attn but unless the programmed lag can be taking out, I'll stick with N/A.

The programmed lag can be taken out in a number of ways, and it has been on all 3 of our cars. Thats what kills the tranny, is the fact that the turbo is spooling that quick. My STE is fully spooled at 1800rpm. If you use an aftermarket boost controller, then there is no way it can use any sort of boost ramp anyways, because the stock computer controlled boost controller isn't controlling the boost. However, then it can't pull boost for safety reasons. (not a big deal usually, but also not a bad feature to have)
