i just thought of something...

you said you might add another LED stip on the bottom right? why dont you keep the top on as brake light and add a bottom one and make it parking lamps...

this way you'll have it running dim with parking lamps and bright with brakes

i have extra LEDs here
if i find that stupid clip im gona try adding that when im replacing the clip.. ii think itll work

i found the clip.. i might start on it today...

can you PLEASE show me the tool you used to remove the clips? i dont wanna brake them again :(

It looks like the middle one but has more of a pig tail to it and is about 10 inches long. What i did was pushed the clip on the drivers side first on the bottom (toward the trunk latch) angled the 4th brake light up like a hinge and it popped right out. I didn't break the clip but bent it a tad but formed right back to shape when it came time to installing.
