Default My Bonneville today

Took a picture of the car this morning.

That'* right, no sad departure photos, no pics of the proud new owner. Sold the Bonne off to a nice guy who isn't a forum goer, he'* not a car buff, he'* the average guy who wanted a good car to drive. As I listed off the various parts that have been swapped, he kept smiling more and more.
Enjoy the car Ed, thanks for the money. :Thumbs

And a single tear ran down GM Forum'* cheek.

So what'* next for you? Just going to concentrate on the Regal now, or is there another car in your near future?

For a while now my priorities have changed from breaking parts to helping others break parts. I'm doing many more installs. It'* a way for me to help out and make some money at the same time.

With my fiance (yea, first time saying that one...last night) in the picture and house, it'* nice to have my area in the garage etc, but it'* not the only place I want to live my life. For a few years, I've spent most of each week in the garage. There are times where I take a month or so break from it because it gets to the point where it'* not enjoyable.

Meanwhile, the Bonneville was fun, and probably too heavy for the transmissions I was working with. The main parts were sold off last year and the car was sitting there waiting to be driven. I drive the slightly smaller and more nimble Regal each day. The Bonneville needed a new home and the new owner is very happy with it as I once was.

Next project/car, who knows. The Regal will get a Gen V the moment the transmission is swapped. I have too many parts and things to play with to consider getting out of the game. As well, I wish to read up and get into some of the newer engines.
