Yeah it'* the 4300 Vortec v6 and it has 190hp & 250ftlbs...

It'* more than enough to get out of it'* own way. It actually feels a bit faster than my '97 Ram with the 5.2L. That engine seemed to fall on its face after about 3000rpm. The vortec pulls strong all the way up until it shifts.

A couple of my buddies have them. They like them. They like the extra torque.

yeah, i think my neighbors truck is a little sluggish IMO, but when i jump on it, it does clean the dash off every time

It all depends on what you are comparing it to. Compared to my SSEi or Chevelle, this thing is an absolute DOG! Compared to my dad'* '05 Silverado 6.0L, this thing is a dog. But I think that it is very similar to (if not better than) my 5.2L equiped Ram.

true. i was just expecting more power when i jumped on it is all. but it will hold its own. just forgot that it was something to the effect of a 4300 pound truck. it does sound nice opened up though

Ok so the Bravada is at the dealership for 2 separate problems.

#1 is that it has a vibration that is noticeable at 45-55mph and once you are up to 65-75mph it pulsates, meaning that it goes from the level that it is at going 45-55mph and then it will increase in intensity. It is felt through the chassis and not through the wheel or pedals.

#2 is that there is a marked hesitation between 1500rpm and 3000rpm in any gear under all throttle positions.

They have already replaced all 4 tires with Cooper Discoverer H/T'* seen here:

And they still have no idea what'* causing the vibration (tires didn't fix it).

They told me that the hesitation is just how all of the AWD vehicles pickup speed... I HIGHLY doubt that considering that it is rpm dependant and not vehicle speed dependant. All of the other Blazers and Jimmys (granted not AWD) were smooth as silk in term of their pull through the rpm range.

What do you guys think?
