Little bit on the top of the front bumper cover (beneath the headlamps and grill) where the white paint is seperated from the soft plastic. Also a little bit where the rocker panel meets the body at the passenger side rear door.

Next wax-whorage session I'll clean that area up and touch up the paint before the rusts gets a foothold.

Furture plans for the car (in no particular order)

1.) Change the instrument panel to add a factory tach along with any additional gauges from that package (would be nice to have an ammeter and oil pressure gauge..me and the idiot lights don't get along too well)

2.) Change the rims from steel 15" to factory alloy 16" rims when it'* due for new tires. It'* still rolling on the original Uniroyal radials it was sold with (dealer added along with a 5th one for a full size spare.)

3.) Add a supercharger to the 3800. Been looking at ebay for an appropriate donor motor. So far an auction for a 2000 GTP motor looks promissing. I've always considered adding a supercharger to my '87 420 Camaro, but with the price of gas going ballistic, playing around with a blower on this car makes more sense. Also, the car is perfect sleeper material. It screams "Old Folks" as it sits. Making it capable of blowing the doors off the local ricers is appealing

4.) Tighten up the ride a little. It has a very quiet ride, but corners like the Titanic. Was kinda fun to run it through some corners till the back end broke loose. Didn't do anything nasty, just squealed as the back tires broke traction and drifted. Huge amounts of body roll though. Found a shock tower brace on a Buick in the local junk yard, which I've cleaned up, repainted, and added to this one. Need to look a little at suspension bits. Heck I don't even know if it has sway bars on it now.

Looks like a very nice car. Very clean looking. Hope you have good luck with it and it has A LOT of life left in it. 34k isn't even broken in yet!

In the pic there, looks like a nice 93-97 Camaro. Is it an LT1 or just a 6 cyl? (can't see under the taillight clearly and even if I could just 'cause it doesnt' have a badge doesn't mean anything) Mods? (you knew it was coming)

Also find it funny that you're one of those people that blurr your license plate out. Nothing wrong with it, just never saw the point of it. What can somone on the internet do that someone in a parking lot or driving down the freeway do. Just my opinion.... But don't mind me I just make a big deal out of little things sometimes.

Yeah I never blur my plate either . Whats the point right but to each thier own.

It'* a 94 V6. Check my web page for photos. The LT1 motor is in the garage along with the 4L60E and crossmember. Mods: aluminum 1 peice driveshaft and a limited slip diff. Basic prep work for the motor swap. It'* about due as soon as I get the AC in the Astro fixed. The Camaro'* V6 has 177,000 miles on it and is burning oil off and on. And no, it doesn't get Z28 badges along with the swap. Like the '87 Camaro, which also began life as a V6, and looked like a base model Sport Coupe for most of it'* life, it will remain a sleeper. Anybody dumb enough to race a stock looking car that rumbles like a UPS delivery truck deserves what they get

As to bluring the plate, it'* just old habit I guess. No sense giving anything away.

Having the Bonneville show up unexpectedly has jump-started a lot of projects. Kinda tough working on cars on the weekends and then having to drive them to work on Monday. The other cars are all high milage and were just getting service that kept them running, nothing major that couldn't be done over a weekend. (Wife and I both work, so she'* driving the '94 Camaro while I run the Bonneville). With the spare car, I can do the major repairs I've been putting off, like getting the van'* AC back on line and the motor swap on the Camaro.
