As to bluring the plate, it'* just old habit I guess. No sense giving anything away.
Having the Bonneville show up unexpectedly has jump-started a lot of projects. Kinda tough working on cars on the weekends and then having to drive them to work on Monday. The other cars are all high milage and were just getting service that kept them running, nothing major that couldn't be done over a weekend. (Wife and I both work, so she'* driving the '94 Camaro while I run the Bonneville). With the spare car, I can do the major repairs I've been putting off, like getting the van'* AC back on line and the motor swap on the Camaro.
I've seen V8 Astros before
Badass stuff

That is a very clean '90!!!!
You were lucky to find that one.
You most likely don't have sway bars, but they can be added and will help with the body roll. Also, look into getting some Monroe Sensa-Tracs front and back. They will help that ride also. You will be surprised how much better it will ride and track.
You've got a gem there, treat it well.

1990 Bonneville History for all... he he he...
Ok your Bonneville will have the FE1 suspension or Soft Ride... I actually like the 89-91 FE1 better than the 92-99 FE1, seems to have a bit of a stiffer ride...
Now the Sway bars are a bit tricky...
The front could be a 28mm or 30mm... The rear if it has one should be a 14mm...
The FE2( Ride and Handling ) or the F41( Firm Ride and Handling ) will have the 32mm front and 18 mm rear sway bar... These sway bars make a large impact on these cars... and installing that Strut Tower Bar was a good first step in tighting up the front end...
The 21mm rear sway bar from a 92-99 SSE-SSEi with FE2 or SE Bonneville with F41( 92-93) can easily be adapted to fit as long as you get all of the bushings and related hardware with the sway bar... If you do not like the 18mm bar, and they should be easy to comeby, then you can try the 21mm bar... But for the front I do reccomend 32mm and 18 for the rear...
My 91 LE came with the 30 mm front bar, and 14mm rear bar... I swapped out the 14mm for the 18mm... That alone made for a good diffrence in cornering... I also have the strut Tower Bar... Another thing that a lot of us have done was to ditch the factory endlinks for some new energy suspension bushings... Makes a good diffrence on its own... For the rear simmilar would apply, these cars came from the factory with rubber bushings in the rear as opposed to the Poly, they compressed very easily...
Make you first 2 mods the 18mm with Poly links, and do the poly links up front too and see if you like what you get...
16 " rims and tires are a help as well... I put these on mine..
Let us know if you have any other questions
