Yep I did...wasnt too hard to do, but had to take the time to find out which wires did what. I only ran 1 hot wire from the fusebox to the mirror and grounded one of the others. So I am only running the compass function. Which is fine by me

Sure is...the sensor is built into the windshield mounting. I forgot what car that came out of, but I am pretty sure it was a Buick Roadmaster.

Hmmm...doesn't your SSE have one of those? I know I saw one in the junkyard of your bodystyle with that type of mirror, but maybe a later year than yours?

does the compass still work cuz thats exactaly what im looking for since mine doesnt have the compass and how did u install yours? since u have a sunroof.
yup everything works perfectly...it was done so long ago i just gotta remember how everything was done...ill talk to my uncle who worked at pontiac and find out all the specifics, but im pretty sure u just run the power then calibrate it just as if it was any other compass...just gotta check the cadillac owners manual first.

And im not 100% on where they ran the power from...ill talk to my father and get back to u on it
