Meguires 4 step system pics
I have used Meguires gold class paste wax in the past, which is a good product.
I tried something different this time around.
started with mothers clay bar kit- about 1/2 the price as Meguires clay.
followed up with Meg'* paint cleaner - used cheap wool compounding pad
Meg'* polish cheap yellow foam pad
Finally Meg'* NXT gen wax 3M blue foam pad (for dark finishes)
all applied with a craftsman 10" orbital buffer modified to accept standard Velcro foam pads no nancy bonnets here. temp was temp was 50 with 15-20mph wind
my conclusion based on my car with no need for a heavy cut compound or a high speed rotary buffer. Meguires left a finish comparable to 3M or wizards products. for a lot cheaper $$

I will do a more detailed step by step (with 3M products) on my trucks when the weather is a bit nicer, one is oxidized the other is covered in swirl marks.
