actually its aluminized steel, which from my understanding does in fact have the ability to rust, but ill keep an eye on it, itll be fine...

as for the sound clips you shall have them, i plan on dragging my computer outside with some recording software and my mic and it should provide some fairly good quality sound clips...ive recorded my acoustic guitar with it and it actually sounds pretty dang good...lets hope it works on mufflers too.
