The first car I know that had the HUD was the Grand Prix. Either 89 or 90.

The damn GP had the HUD first!?!?! Stupid pontiac.... Those GPs back then weren't that nice, IMHO, atleast not nice looking, and they didn't sound like nice performance/luxo vehicles... Maybe i'm just ranting...

Hey...watch it! I loved my '94 GP...he was my baby. I thought he looked pretty sweet too.

I was talking about those earlier years, i like the later ones, specially like a 94-95 GTP body... Only a 2 dr, but still nice.

I think the body was pretty much the same for the '91 up at least...or are you talking even earlier than that?

The 88 GP body was the same as the 96 GP body.

I think 88 to 96 were all the same.

well the GTP was introduced and it had a nicer body IMHO...

Sometime I'll post a pic of my old baby...he'* nice. I'm just glad he'* being treated well by the new owner (GP fanatic)...I didn't want to see him in a junkyard one day.

Nice.. They aren't bad cars, i just meant that i think the Bonnie shoulda gotten the HUD first being a flagship car... Although the bonnie was getting redone first, so maybe they didn't want to redo a dash for a year or two.... Makes sense.. I considred a GP first, then thought "Hey i always liked the bonnie look, and they were cheaper used, and i like their drivablility better, and there isn't nearly as many of them as there are GPs i see around.

I can't agree more...the Bonnie is the better car...the flagship. That'* why the GP eventually went to a friend and we got the Bonnie. I could never go back now.
