I just joined and thought I'd better introduce us
Been here in Dubai for quite a while. When I came here I brought my car with me, knowing that it will be difficult to keep it up. That has turned out to be true, not only due to spare parts. Everybody was like "What the ..." but I just couldn't leave it. So it has been my daily driver here until very recently.

Quick stats:

• Buick Park Avenue, 1996 model, European specs
• second owner, now almost 179k mls on the clock
• fully original, except car stereo and an after-market remote start

I have so far come across two (!) other PA'* in the UAE, last time about three years ago. It is a real rarity around here.

Welcome to the forums, always nice to have another Park Ave owner join, mine has a few issues, but one day I plan to get it back on the road.
There are some very nice cars over there in Dubai, and the architecture is amazing, I am sure you are enjoying all of that!

Tye 96' PA rides so smooth I can see how you could not leave it at home, with good suspension all around it is like driving on a cloud.
