i think not being gentle is the key there. my mom got rid of her 03 3400 imp for a 3.6 one and she said she gained 1-2 over that. which is much better than the 3.5 and 3.9. her commute though has a bunch of stops and the 6 spd over the 4 probably helps

hehehe I got better gas mileage out of the Dodge not being gentle than the Imp being gentle LOL

The one I had for a rental was a 3.6L 5 spd RWD

dodge tends to gear there vehicles low which would help with "aggressive" driving mileage. the previous imps had highway gears and 4 spds which only has the advantage on highway
