I agree that polished chrome would be a bit flashy but...I'm a big fan of the ones I have on my car (see siggy). When I was looking for rims I also looked at some from American Eagle...Pricey but pretty.

Shawn, what rims do you prefer having? Some factory Pontiac rims, some factory GM rims (other GM names) or some aftermarkets? Narrow it down.

Rims that look good, don't cost a huge amount of money, and will bolt up to my car.

Those caddy rims that were posted look really good, but if I bought them from that site with shipping and everything it would end up being $922! I am looking more in the price range of $500 or less.

Now that I am seeing how rediculously priced some of these wheels are, maybe I will leave the ugly stock wheels on it and just get some really nice tires and do some mods to the car or something. I knew that like aftermarket 18'* and bigger rims were pretty expensive, but I didn't think that some conservative looking stock 16'* or 17'* would be $200 a rim!

trofeo is right, I am looking for cheap nice looking rims. (not necessarily expensive looking, but rims that don't look like $5 rims) I just want to make the car look classy, not like I dumped a grand into wheels for it.

There'* a set of the swoopy 01 SSEi wheels on ebay for around 400 buy it now price. I think keep your eyes on ebay for pontiac wheels, and you'll be good. Newer GP wheels would be cool.

I would have to look at them and see if the offset is right, but those might look pretty good on there. I would put some of the newer GP wheels on there because I think the torque star wheels look pretty good, but the offset is way wrong, and the wheels won't even come close to working. Maybe I will unbolt one of them from the SSEi and see if it will fit on my GP.

I agree that they would look cool, but those rims are a PITA to clean (took me 3 hours to clean the ones on our other turbo gp), and those are the same rims we have on the other turbo gp so I think it would look like I was trying to copy it. Not only that, but those wheels are really heavy, and again, they look stock, which isn't the look I am going for.

3 hours to clean! Takes me about 4 minutes per wheel. Orange Blast All Wheel Cleaner.

Get some nice aftermarket ones! I just wanted to see what your car would look like with Ghetto Golds.

I am pretty sure the wheels hadn't been cleaned in probably 3-5 years when I cleaned them other than just being hosed off. (it was right after we got the car) Not to mention when I clean something I want it really really clean. I sat there and scrubbed each of the holes in the wheel with a toothbrush to get all of the dirt off of them. And I took the wheels off the car and cleaned the back of them too. When I clean wheels I really clean them. I don't just leave them on the car and spray them down or anything. Once I get them clean I try to keep them clean by doing that, but if they get too dirty I will sit there and scrub them until they are really clean inside & out. When I got done cleaning them, the wheels were REALLY clean though. But the point is, if it had like 5 spoke wheels or something on it and they were that dirty, it would've taken me 30 minutes tops to clean them.

That explains the 3 hours. I've cleaned people'* rims that let the dust set on it for a long time and I needed a green scrub pad

I clean mine with a toothbrush thouroughly too and they look great. For some reason this wheel cleaner I use is better than anything else. I can go without cleaning the wheels for a couple weeks but the dust comes off easily.

But it would be nice to have some 5 spoke rims that would be nice and effortless to clean.
