Damn, can't get over how hot that car is. Although I think she would really benefit from some cleared corners to match those taillights.

I have to agree with you on clearing the front turn signals.

BTY your car keeps looking better all the time.

When did the paint shop tell you that it would be safe to seal in the finish with a wax or sealant?

Sealant??? There is NO sealant on the markey that is safe on a finish over time. NONE. That will get some flack i'm sure but my opinion. And alot of other custom freaks. They invade the finish and time. temp, and UV'* get to em. Nothing in this world is totally UV stable. "cept Joan Rivers face.

The car gets it'* first "organic natural" wax the beginning of May just before it'* first show. The standard time is 30 days. But With 7 coats of new paint, It should be a little longer. Mine will be almost six weeks. Cant imagine it any shinier.

Care to share your wax of choice? I like P21S and Poor Boys both are excellent choices.

BTW your opinion counts and you will get no flack from me.

I use Mothers and Mcguires alot ...carnuba base..... you are going to pay in the end for any wax finishes full of solvents silicones and other polymers( so called instant finish sprays the worst) , but this build started with a brand new car so I have never waxed it yet.

The custom shop that painted car will be waxing the first time. It'* final last grit buff so to speak and I'm anxious to see the results. I've been so busy getting parts for car and custom shop is a zoo of creative work going on so i havent even asked him what wax he'll be using. I did notice he tends to use trade only products.

Looks like wood grain that you'd see on the inside of an old Caddy.
