Yeah, I noticed that too. I think the point he is trying to make it that if we want less expensive mods, we need to start supporting him with group purchases. He has been pretty clear on that point.
Unfortunately, I need to wait until my son is born before I commit to the mods I want to do. Timing is everything.

Thanks a bunch guys. I think the first thing I am going to do is get some gold racing stripes down the middle. 95BonnevilleSESC, I have the exact same car as you. I was thinking of taking the Saleen wing off of my Camaro and putting it on the Bonneville to see how it looked, but someone stole it off my car before I could!
Ty, how much would a "not cheap" kit cost? More than a grand?

If so, you would be the second member with the Supercharged SE (a rare car)! As far as the paint scheme, I think that the green with the Ghetto Gold Rims is the best paint scheme for the 1992-1995 Bonnevilles. Gold racing stripes? I'd have to see them when you get them done.
Good luck.

Sorry I meant body-wise gold rims, spoiler, tan interior, etc. My dad has a 2001 Grand Prix GTP, and sometime I hope to buy a similar supercharger for the Bonnie. Is that whats on yours?

Cheap????
Actually my comments regarding cheap was meant to be sure there was no surprise. I am basing this store on need. i never wanted to be a creator unless I had to. Basically I am bringing custom services and products together after i am sure they are of good to perfect quality. That’* the goal. This means often the price will be high (the transaxle is a good example ask da demigod rat about my original goal on the price of the transaxle. I wanted it to be much lower, but this unit will not break with our engines so I figure instead of going through two transaxles you can have one and feel confident on every race that you can mash your peddle down). Anyone can sell all the products available but this store is for the person who wants the comfort of a solution that requires no guesswork when it comes to quality. I don’t mind if no one ever buys a single item. Actually to late for that. I have alot of other cars I will provide for once I have all the h body and Bonneville products lined up. I put up a test suspension product for the GP and boom over 2000 hits and many many inquires within a two day time. So Bonneville is important but I will leave it up to you guys.
Cheap options. Well I was going to make a list but the options will conflict with some innovations that other people are creating on this site. I believe the Bonneville crowd will grow but our market will always be somewhat small so good priced custom options will be the way of the Bonneville. This is why we need to spend our money on one another. So custom, CAI, hoods, suspension, drop springs transaxles, pillar pods, the all-almighty alternator, and much much more to come. Once again my goal has to bring the best of the best together and offer their services to our community. Whatever you need I can make it happen just please don’t expect the custom solution to be cheaper or as cheap as the common aftermarket product. In some cases with first purchases I will add my own money to make a product happen for advertising purposes. If you want to hear anymore of my ranting you can call me my # is on my site, or you can e-mail me. I love the sense of a community workshop that has been growing. This is truly how our cars will be provided for. Just as a note of warning for developers make sure you don’t shortchange yourself in the beginning otherwise you will be left raising the price later and people will be mad. Grrr. Also it is good to assume stores will be interested in your product and you will need to account for there financial requirements to sell the product.

Love your colors. Have to agree, this combination is striking. There'* only one car here so far that'* done racing stripes, and a DAMN fine job, too. Try this link (and click on the link in the first post of the thread): http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...racing+stripes
Regardless, your car has alot of potential. There'* a couple guys here who've proven what a few mods to a NA SE or SSE can do. Poke around, ask questions, and we can probably get you where you want to be.

If you do find an engine, tranny, PCM, and wiring harness, and if you do decide to do the swap, it would be a great write-up for this forum. BTW, Your car is not slow, it has plenty of torque (for take-off) and plenty of HP (for speed and upper-end acceleration). You will have a blast modding it and showing your friends that the Bonneville 'may have been a grandpa'* car, but it was a race car driving grandpa'* car with balls'.
When you get a chance, post some pics of your ride. We all love comparing notes and seeing the rides!
