Default Ground effects

Hey guys, I am an 18 yr old Camaro driver who is about to inherit a 93 Bonneville SE. It has the gold rims, leather interior, sunroof, and spoiler. I was mainly wondering if any of you guys put on ground effects or body kits that are not stock-style. Where did you get them, how much, etc etc?? I don't want any rice-burner type stuff, just something to liven up the outside of the car. What are some other things you guys have done to your cars that you are proud of? Thanks alot,
Jason

Welcome to the forum! There is some talk from time to time, and a couple guys are in the planning stages for this, so I'd suggest just using the search function and seeing what you can dig up! (one guy already used paintshop to show what his car would look like.....see if you can find it!)

Welcome!
As far as I know, there is NO kit yet for Bonnevilles. With that said, all Bonnevilles come from factory with a ground effects package already. Any additional skirting will have to custom made!

The most fun you can have with your car is the innovation opportunities that are not available with other cars. Up until now there has been next to no support for the Bonneville. Realistically there are a few companies interested in producing products actually one Angry Duck Racing, and my "store" Domestic Performance. My goal was more of a store and I have convinced a few other companies to work with our cars. If you have a skill or interest in adding to the innovation now’* your chance. I am sure if you or someone you know made a kit it would be welcomed. If it is good quality then I would be interested. If you are extremely serious I can have a kit produced for you but it would not be cheap.

Angry Duck Tofu Racing might dig into a body kit for the Bonneville'* but after quite a few performance parts have been developed first. I know we are going to make a carbon fiber hood for my car.

Default groundeffects for bonnie

actually there are ground effect kits you can buy for bonnies, if you have an SSE you won't need one but check this out for SE models etc,,

The person who is really in to moding his skirts (Bonneville ground effects, that is) is Skza. Check the threads for his discussion on this. I don't believe the kit mentioned by PontiacXcitement will fit a 1993 SE as the body changed in 1992. The kit only states 1987-1990. These were a bit shorter than the 1992-1999 models. I would also suggest going to a salvage yard and picking up the SSE ground effects from a 1992-1995. They would fit perfectly (except the front bumper) and would give you what you are looking for.

BTW, You have a great car! Take care of it and it will run strong and long.

I agree, talk to skza when it comes to body stuff. Evey time I talk to him on IM hes doing something crazy to make our cars look sportier. Last week he had his rear spoiler off and we making fiberglass spacers to fit between the deck and the spoiler to give it a nicer look :?

Talk to him, he'* cool and he'll point you in the right direction
