I wouldn't worry about the re-sale value in clearing the headlights and tailights, most people won't even know, and those who notice will be ones who like it. As for dealerships, I've had my car in the shop handfull of times in last week and not one dealer even noticed, even told the service manager as I was picking it up and he didn't even notice before. I wouldn't worry about it, it will look nice, and will look nice when you get rid of the car.

Hailey, I was following a white ssei like yours today and I could picture the clear rears and it was looking good, I mean it would look good :P
Not pushing you or anything, just think it would look good not that I imagined it infront of my face.

I think I'll go through with it when it get'* just a tad warmer...do the front and back the same day.
And thanks so much for really putting some thought into your opinion...it'* so easy to just say "go for it", but you actually took the time to think about it, and I really appreciate that.

Hailey you could also get someone on this forum to swap tail lights with you in the future if you go get concerned about resale. I can almost guarantee you that unless the person buying your car is a real nut, I don't think anyone would notice this nice subtle change.
Great job on this....do Euro spec Bonneville have the orange lenses too? I know BMWs don't....the amber piece is a US D.O.T. requirement
