Default CLEAR TAIL LIGHTS?

I've seen this on cardomain where a Grand AM gt cleared his tail lights, Is it possible with 92-95 sse'* and 96-99 se'*? He pryed the tail lights open and took the red part out will this work for our cars as well?

What? Euro lights?

Naw..don't do it...Euro only looks good on factory installed vehicles. You ever seen a Neon with clear tails or a entry level Civic hatchback with aftermarket or clear tails?.... . Euro lights look really good on the Lexus Altezza/IS300 or RX300..cuz its factory installed and designed as such

I wouldn't want to see a Bonne with euro lights. I'll admit the GAGT looks OK, but, it still doesn't look right.

I'd be interested to hear what others have to say about this.

Somebody looked into this some time ago. It would be very expensive to do, and we'd have to have a group buy lined up ahead of time.

The thought intrigued me once upon a time as well, but decided it was a ricer fad. It'* bad enough seeing them on Ford, Chevy and Dodge trucks, going for that rice look I suppose. My opinion is to steer clear of them, but, to each his/her own. Thats my nickels worth.

If you really feel the urge to do something original with your taillights, try doing the altieza style but replace the shinny silver look with jet black (plastic mold maybe?). So all you see are the red lenses themselves. Just giving you some ideas.

I couldn't agree more. Clear tail lights would NOT compliment a bonneville, in my opinion. Pleease, don't deface your car in this way!

it looks...interesting, but i wouldnt suggest anyone on the forum to try it. Wait for some ricer wannabe to try it and post pics. The GT looks too much like he just removed the cover, it doesnt look like something you would buy.
