4 to 6 depending on your dremel skills. Take your time, theres a lot of plastic to cut.
Agreed. I would say 6 for the first piece cut, then 4-6 for the rest...

That looks slick Taylor!

How do you think it would look on a white '00?

I've actually been planning to do the front for a while now...now that it'* warmer I'll probably do it in a few weeks, but I never really considered the rear...I am now.

Hailey, I'd say go for it, white would look nice, personally I'd say almost all +00 would look better with cleared tailights except the sand stone color. Bronzemist I think. Driving behind one the other day and just couldn't visualize it. But my Siliver, Black, dark red like PontiacDad'* and White would look the nicist The dark blue might look kinda funny, but it probably looks just as great on my car as every color.....GO FOR IT!!

As for headlights, CLEAR THEM EVERYONE!!! Think it looks so much nicer than with that siliy orange piece in there. One you take it off, you'll see how nice and chrome it looks on the inside.

The one thing I'm worried about is resale value...the front piece just pops out so I can put it back in, the rear involves cutting. I am probably going to end up running this car into the ground like I did the last one, but if I decide not to, and try to sell it in a couple years, it might really affect the price.

I do think it would look nice though.

If you do a private sale, most people are not even going to know that you did it. If you trade it on another pontiac, the dealership may not even be aware of it, or care of that matter. Do it! That way you can at least enjoy your handy work.

It'* certainly a consideration. I have been debating a few mods that can't be put back the way they were and it all comes down to that same issue. I think I need to drive a GXP first...if I love it, I will probably be trading in this one towards it when the 2005 model comes out, but if not, then I will most likely drive this one into the ground.

Not a bad plan there. Gxp does look nice, but your ssei can be faster for cheepier.

I wouldn't worry about the re-sale value in clearing the headlights and tailights, most people won't even know, and those who notice will be ones who like it. As for dealerships, I've had my car in the shop handfull of times in last week and not one dealer even noticed, even told the service manager as I was picking it up and he didn't even notice before. I wouldn't worry about it, it will look nice, and will look nice when you get rid of the car.

You guys are right, most people probably wouldn't notice.

Probably the normal reaction would be..."That car looks nice. Something seems different, but I can't put my finger on it."

But hey, if you are just going to trade it in, you might as well wait.
