Default Franky gets new* tails

* New to me that is.

I bought a pair of tails from rjolly87 some time back. They were in considerably better shape than my current ones but needed some refurbing. Delamination was at a minimum and the outer lens was complete but both the clear and colored lenses were hazy. I disassembled them and cleaned and polished both lenses. It made a big difference. Reassembly and installation was performed this evening.

As luck would have it, the car I obtained from Tonyrodz had a near perfect left taillight. So in the following "after" pics, the left was not refurbed but the right was:

What a difference a nice set of tails has made on this car. Come nightfall, it only gets better as the clean clear lenses highlight the recessed colored lenses. And oooooh... those stripes!

Funny you should say that. I made the first triple digit run tonight on my way to BillyBoost'* house. I keep thinking... since most of the front end is new but the rear hubs and such are original to the vehicle, the *** end must be thinking "WTF is going on here?"
