Well there is a way to come out past the rear bumper and still look good. I did it, lol. As seen in the post below, they are tips that came off of Driverjohn'* SSEi.

I know they are not an 87-91 feature, but they do suit the style.
There is a couple of quick vids too, and NO they are not WOT, cause 1 Renée is driving and 2 it sounds best when taking of at a normal speed, peeking for sound at around 2k rpm.

I think Bill may be on to something here though. I cetainly wasn't thinking that way. Since the exhaust has a couple of extra disconnect points, I can see if there is any improvement by elimating some parts of the system. Burnouts or my heinie dyno is probably not the best way to calculate HP and/or loss of the exhaust. What I should do is bring it to an actual dyno facility and see what the numbers tell.

I'll make some calls next week unless someone already knows of one close by.

The resonator has been installed. The raspy rice-like sound no longer eminates from Frank'* butt. Thank God! It now has a deeper tone at idle and a subtle muscular tone with a faint gurgle with throttle. Much quieter with the res.

It actually sounds very similar to the original exhaust with the LN3 motor... just vaguely louder and deeper. Bill looked a little dissapointed after his test ride. I was hoping for something close to the deep tone of my truck but I guess I'm not going to get that out of a V6.

The whine is much more audible now though.

I'm disappointed because the smaller pulley isn't here yet!
