Thanks for all of the compliments and keep them coming!!
About the HU, it was supposed to be $400, but the site that I got it off of had it for $250.00 brand new!!! So I decided to pick it up, if you like the visulizations you can get the non-mp3 and WMA one for about $180-190ish. Wow... I wish I had 4000Watts of junk in my trunk... I'm looking at two HE2'* but those are only 800W each I cannot even imagine how loud 4000W is....

Anyway, the SSE looks nice and clean. I like the reflection shots off the hood. I've noticed that my paint, and all Bonnevilles, is smoother and reflects better than my parents brand new Vette! For some reason it is slightly ripply and not as smooth.

[quote="97NAbonneville1My guess would be that they turn up or down the volume/level of the subs??[/quote]
Precisely, that way you won't have to monkey with the gain control on the amp or HU(if it'* compatible). You can just reach down and twist a **** for more bass or less.

That would be great for really bassy songs(rap) so I can have it all the way up... and then if I want to listen to the radio or some rock I can turn it down a little bit. How much does one of these cost and where would I find one? Thanks for the info, originally I was just thinking a switch to turn on or off power to the amp... but this sounds a hellouva lot better!!

And yes, that 4000W system he has is INSANE!! I could not stand it it was that loud. I wanted to get out of the car. I'm surprised blood didn't shoot out my ears. After all, the speakers and all 4 of the 12"-13" (at least) subs are less than 6 feet from my ears.
