they are simply a ring of plastic w/ 1-2 LED'* to light up the ring, in the box they have little thing that lights them up.. walk into autozone and press the "try me" button" they light themselves up lol

i'm not used to them being that bright! lol. Sorry, but angel eyes will be pimpin 95% of the time though

Lookin' good Alien! Yup, those are Hella(no pun intended) brighter than stock bulbs. And if you want to change them out to blue or violet hue, or even HID if you got the moola, the H3 bulb is very popular.
