A high flow kitty will get you some good gains, especially if you got a modded air intake and if your old setup was a little clogged and dirty. For 30-50 bucks, it aint a bad deal. But the muffler will get you the sound you been dreaming of!

Does a high flow cat change sound at all even if barely noticeable? Im guessing a 10-15hp increase once I get my stuff on there.

I dont think it changes sound at all, but if it does it is really small, like the sound of air or something. The only thing that rumbles is the muffler. A 15hp is probably right, with the open air intake and a good filter as well. Speaking of filters, my k&n looks like someone took it out behind the house and beat the crap out of it... I felt the gains of the setup in the 3k and above RPM range, whenever I was at around half throttle. Nice little pick me upper

Ya my filter looks a bit damage as well and has a few oil spots from working on the car so much. Ive cleaned it but the screen is damaged in some places. Its fine though I want to get a new one later on and one with the open cone top so I can get that whistling noise I used to hear on my Grand Am back in the day.
