Might not have the power, but it'* great inside, not a bit plastic chunky thing. We had a family reunion last wekend, so my uncle rented this. He flew from alaska and was out east in Michy and such at Road America, then came here in it and met my aunt at our place.

Had 1500 miles from his trip on it, about 8300 overall, I washed it up nicely for him so they would have a clean mustang to drive around in.

Nice car. Would be close to an SSEi at the track in a straight line, but it'* a sportier car by far. Can't believe this would only be like 23k.

Much nicer than the old Mustangs. Much more power now, especially in the GT.

Would be close to an SSEi at the track in a straight line, but it'* a sportier car by far.
Mmmm.. its still just the 210hp V6 Explorer engine. I'd bet it would be about 10-15 car lengths behind me by the time I cross the trap.

Uhhh.. O.K.
I'm assuming that an auto V6 would run in the area of 15.7-16.0. The manual a 15.3-15.5. Considering I have a 3.5 pulley and a gutted air box I should run 14.4-14.7 depending on my launch. Everyone tells me one tenth is equal to one car length in the quarter mile. SO... we'll just say 6-16 lengths.

a 3.5 and a gutted airbox wont get you mid-low 14'* unless its -40* out and you have a 125mph tail wind. my guess: 14.9 @ 93.2

I thought dropping from a stock pulley to a 3.5 = a .3- .4 drop in the quarter. :? Recall my 60 ft from my stock run. With a 2.1 or so 60 ft and the 3.5" it is feasable to run a 14.5. Heck, even the clubgp said I would have run a 14.8 with a 2.1 60ft stock.

those V6 mustangs are slow. I've outran the previous body style V6 in my aurora and it'* not fast. F88 should have no problem beating one. His car is basically a Bonneville. Why do you call it so slow Ryan? I think he would probably outrun you. :?
