My only qualm with the XT is that it feels really cheap, I played with one at Future Shop and the thing felt like it would fall apart in my hands. There was even something rattling inside. Granted, it probably saw excess wear being a display model, and it still worked just fine, but it didn't scream durability to me.

Nice Job Ryan. I have 2 XM Subs now, the one that came with the 04 Bonneville and a MyFi as a birthday present last August.
I will trade you a Zaino job on your Bonneville for a custom install in my Sonoma. LOL
I think I will need to do away with my cig adapter and do a better job on the install in the Sonoma. I really like your install and how clean it looks.

Thanks man.
The trade is a deal if ever we are in the same vicinity, it'* a bit of a hike for me now though :P
But I'm sure you can figure something out for the Sonoma, just be creative.

The unit you have is a very durable one, and has a nice OEM feel. At work we install those on boats, which is the harshest environment for anything, constant banging, salt spray, and mad corrosion. We have put in probably 20-30 and still not a single failure.
