the only blue LED in the radio is the theftlock... installed that last time i had it apart

i have it apart not to see why half of the screen wasnt working... im guessing it was that one bad wire..

it also looks like they are not made to go in without a special crimper.. i improvised and soldered them in there

WELL... i installed new blue LED'* in 2 of the 3 bad spots shown here

they dont work... neither does the display screen.. same as before...

there are 3 bulbs behind the screen, 1 of them works, 2 of them dont

at least i have the wires longer so i can keep taking it apart easier :*

WOW! Tech pics, I feel comfy w/Soldering iron but hate tearing into newer dashs and components. I always seem to snap little plastic pieces that cant be fixed. and now that I see this

........red lites arent so bad, I can live with red.....Good luck Harofreak and keep us visually informed.
