Long story short, I went to NAPA years ago, they said they'd have to mix it as there were 5 different variations in the color. They shot the car with their special camera. Came back in a couple days and picked up the paint. Find out later it was off the shelf. I was able to get it at AutoZone all the time.

****** UPDATE ******

So you all know how the guy came and took out the windshield...
Well The next day they where suppose to come back out(Friday) and put the new one back in.

Friday 8:30AM- No call or anything from them yet, so i called them, Person said that they will check into it and see what time the are going to come out.

Friday 11:30AM- No call back yet, so i call again. She said that she sill has no time yet, but the guy was running behind because of the first two jobs took a while longer, but he will be out sense he live out that way and cam make it his last stop.

Friday 4:30PM- No Call, No Show. Call them, i do not get to the local Chain, i get the National #. That person there calls the local place through there back end #. She come back on line with me and says that they have me scheduled for Saturday... umm what? I tell her that i will not be in CT anymore, im going back to NY. she says hold on and calls the local place back. 5 min later she comes back online and says that someone will be giving me a call first thing when they open in the morning 8AM. This will work sense Boosty and i will not be leaving until 9 or 10AM so it should be fine.

Saturday 8:20AM- No Call yet, i call and get the National # again. I explain everything that has gone on and that i was Told by the person on Tuesday when i setup the appointment that they would have no problem taking it out on Thursday and putting it back in on Friday. She says hold on im going to contact the Local Manager for your area. 5min later i get transfered to the Manager. I explain everything. He says that No one can be out there until 10am-12noon.

There is no way that was going to work, he would not do anything to help me and he said there was nothing he could do. So i says fine. i will take me Business elsewhere


So the car sits in boostys Garage waiting for a windshield. I left Boosty the $ and he is going to take care of it for me.

Bill told me about the windshield fiasco. If I need a windshield I'll try to find other options.

Is that all it does there in CT Bill is rain when you have BC visitors? At least in Ontario we give you guys plenty of sunshine and above 70 temps!

Had sun and humidity all weekend long for the gathering that happened around Oldsman'* visit.

According to two of the three forecasts I saw this morning..the storms will break and miss my area.

Since I'm working all week..i don't have much of a choice about doing the window whenever they can.
