i think the glass bounced off the bone
its like a 1/4" long, but its really deep. but ill be fine, i just want to let it sit and start to stich its self back together

Good news:

Was it you that said you could see the HUD projection clearly in a normal windshield?

Looks like some good progress being made. Can't wait to see the car. I think I might have to follow suit and completely remove my interior now (not that it will take much)
If you make a trip to the yard again and see a good grey headliner with sunroof and have a way to get it back undamaged, let me know. i still need one.
And hope the hand heals well.

Yea, it helped the smell really good. all you can really smell now is a hint of bleach and maybe a little simple green
Thanks Geoff, yea the hand is looking a little better, still is a deep cut but is not bleeding so thats a good start.
Dr. Boosty helped wrap it up later on and i hope by the morning it starts to mend back together :?
Hes really good at taping
Ok, on with the car talk lol
So today i went to the yard, got the driver side HL Bucket, spare drivers door window switch, Extra ECC & a Big Cut
I got the door seals all done, i used the good black 3M stuff
I also got the driver side HL in.
After getting back from the Yard i brought back out all the carpet and padding into the sun and let it bake. its 98% dry now
So tomorrow im going to do a water leak test and then if all is well, i will start to put the inside back together.
here are some pics from today, not much done, i was "trying" to let my hand heal
But thats hard to do when you have a SSEi sitting 40feet away
Ok off to sleep

Wow, that'* looking real sharp Ryan................the cut that is.......................and the car.............well it'* coming together beautifully! That front end looks great....like it was never hit (at least from the pics....don't know about up close in person).
It sure is nice when all your replacement parts are the same original colour of the car......wish I had that kinda luck!
I'm drooling over the pics, can't wait to see it in person at your meet in Sept!
