Another Bonneville meets deer story
...to avoid being trampled by them.
You know how vicious those deer can be, don't you??? Sure.... They make all these propaganda films, like "Bambi" and such to make you think they're nothing more than harmless little vegetarians, but at night they come out and attack your sheep and cattle and small children with their sharpened hooves and teeth. They're evil....evil, I say...mark my words.
Here'* a little tidbit you should know:
The white tail deer'* genus is Odocoileus and its species is virginanus. They are mostly found in North and Central America and in northern sections of South America. You will find them usually in forests, swamps, and woodlands. When they are out traveling they normally travel in groups of three. Some similar species to the white tail deer are the mule deer, elk, woodland caribou, moose, and the pronghorn.
If we are to save this country, they must all be eliminated (or at least turned into venison steaks for my consumption).
And notice how it mentions that they normally travel in groups of three. Much like wolves, they travel and hunt in packs. Nobody ever thinks to blame the "cute little deer" when looking for vicious killers....
we have 5 doe'*, and 3 bucks living around here...they have been in our yard a few times, and my friends huntin camera has captured them a few times. there are 2 (8 point) bucks and 1 (6 point). not bad for north florida.
There'* a herd of 10 that come through the area all the time
I shot that pic (and a bunch more that was just the best one) through the sliding glass door from my four season room. The way the sun was shining through the sliders on the other side of the room there was no way to not get that stupid glare, and I didn't think they would be open to reposing for the shot if I went out to move the car away from the pole.
There were actually 4 of them at the time, this one just is more into the Jeep.

Jack, try pressing (lightly obviously) the piece that the lens is in against the glass when you take the picture. That should help reduce that glare. Or you could open the door :P
