Thanks! Now get ready for it to look like a really, really big project!
We cut off the entire front end while getting the body ready for a tube frame chassis. Two friends came by to help with the cutting. I had 600 lb of friends jumping on the front to rip off the last pieces after the reciprocating saw, angle grinder, air chisel, and cutting torch were used to rip up the frame and such. When we dropped out the subframe, I did the easiest brake job in the world! That'* the first picture.

I'm making a probably street-legal racecar. It should be raced, but with all that I'm doing to it, I've only found two true race classes: SCCA Modified and an ASA class that'* just one car at a time doing timed laps.
We had extra food when he arrived.

There is a Superbee or so race just east of Indianapolis that has the same setup, and lots of Grand Prix cars and such go out there. Because my car will be so very entirely different from anything that has ever been a Bonneville, however, I won't be able to race anywhere but in the race classes that allow custom chassis and all engines. Options are limited, but that'* good because racing is expensive.
