My 78 coupe eventually got that 77 grille after I slid off the road during an ice storm. I had those *exact* same hubcaps too. The silly things wouldn't grip the wheel properly and would slip and rotate a bit, and after a while, they'd slice off the valve stems, leaving me stuck on the side of the road swapping on the spare tire. I had to get solid brass valve stems to solve the problem.

I still have on of those hubcaps on my garage wall!

Late 70s and early 80s car had big engines but crappy power output. Emission control devices mades v8s less powerful than some v6s.

Still I bet that car rides like a cloud

Very true but I heard that with better flowing heads and a baby cam they can put out good power.
