18'' diablo rims on my 88 sse

does anybody know if i can fit 20'' rims on my 1988 sse ? in my chilto manual gm states that they recomend no bigger then 19'' x 8'' rims for my year bonneville..? i really would like some 20'' rims for when i go to competition.. it would look nice and the bass would shake the floor more as there would be less rubber...[/img]

I like it. Although I wonder if 20'' would rub up against the tire well when you turn, I've never seen 20'* on our body style. You should check out car domain to see if any members with our body style has put wheels that big on.
