liitle known fact is that the daytona'* that dodge built in the 80'* and early 90'* were a k-car with a different body. the underpinings were the same.

my parents had 91 dodge ram van it had 301,000 miles when it bit the dust the fuel system gave out. My parents already had enough to buy another car just drove until it next brake down which was 1 year and 1 month 18,000 miles. Change the oil about every 10,000 miles or so. And no I am not talk sythetic just regular oil. Also at 218,000 on trip from new york pegged that engine temp gauge. Let it cool at rest stop add coolant to drive the other 400 miles home(in the dark). It was 95 degrees in pa. Acutally I drove it home was the only one that it didn't over heat with,because I drove 55 mph constant with the heat on(actually had 1st degree burns on my legs). So yes those 318 5.2 are tough as nails
