Default KR/boost video

Since I put in my AeroForce, I was wondering if the KR is normal for my mods. The first video is wide open throttle, the boost topped at 11.3 psi and a 2.4 KR reading. The second video is 75% throtlle and I got higher KR readings with lower boost. Are these KR readings normal? Thanks.......

did you already do a high-flow cat? probably not much of a source for KR considering your year. I'd be looking at a better exhaust setup and PEMS.

You might wanna open up the exhaust a bit more to help get rid of the KR. 2.4 KR isn't terrible, and KR does happen in even stock cars.

Add some higher octane fuel to the motor, and if it goes away, you will know it is not false knock.

I'll have to start on the exhaust. I only use 93 from Mobil for gas.

Just for kicks, try putting a couple gallons of like 100 octane race fuel or something in to see if it goes away.

I'll be ordering a Magnaflow cat off of ebay. I did a search, but not sure as to the pipe size to get. So, do I get a 2.5 or 2.25? Also, is the resonator 2.5 in and 2.25 out? Thanks.........

Yes, 2.5" in and 2.25" out.
I would go with 3" in and out (because I could and did ) but you could go with 2.5"

Some of your KR could be coming from heat. That'* why we ice down the SC between runs.

Thanks. I just ordered a magnaflow 4" round mufler in 2.5". I'll be replacing the stock resonator with the Magnaflow and running 2.5" pipe all the way back to the mufflers. I really don't want to mess with the converter right now. The exhaust system is only a month old, replaced by Pontiac for having a broken cat when I bought the car.
