Default Headlight out on the Alero

There'* an Alero in my driveway, and it has the passenger side low beam headlight out. There'* a separate bulb for high beams, and both high beam bulbs work as needed.

The Alero also uses 9006 bulbs for low beams, so I took out the Silverstar Cool Blue 9006 bulbs from my 94 SSEi (apart now anyway) and swapped them into the Alero. It still didn't work! I put the Alero'* OE-style bulbs into my car, and they both work!

So, how do you guys suggest I fix this? I think I might as well trace the wires, but is there a better, more efficient way of doing this?

Check the fuses/breakers in the fuse panel. There are seperate fuses for each headlight.

I have not checked the fuses, but thanks for telling me there are two fuses. I don't have a manual for it, so is there a free online wiring manual for all this?

I would have to check on my Alero..but im pretty sure there is a relay centre under the hood...I dont remember were, cause i never look..haha
Would be odd though? i would think one relay controls both headlights on the lowbeam side for sure anyway...

On at least my 94 SSEi, one low beam and both fog lights are controlled by one set of wires. However, I don't know if that means they're on a separate fuse. I've actually never checked.

On this particular car: I think there are * fuses for the right and left low beam. I had an Oldsmobile that had the same problem. I asked around town and was told that there are 2 fuses for the low beam and 2 for the highs. If not, there might be some tracing of wires to do! Good luck!

Ah, right. Closure time. Both the headlights work now! It was the fuse. Thanks for reminding me!
