It'* not a big block. It'* a 360 bored out and stroked. I might be rebuilding the engine now since my oil got milky and it has a knock all the sudden.

So far it looks really solid underneath. No matter what I'm going to have to put some subframe connectors on since this is a unibody. A built 360 will twist the body enough that it can cause issues.

turbos? thats very un-mopar like attitude. i used to hang out with a guy who was into old mopars. they were always doing side business parting cars and restoring them. we called his place the mopar museum. his dad had am old wagon with a souped up 440, it was ridicules, funny though he wouldnt let my buddy have more than a 318 or 383 2brl in his old fury. he wasent a very good driver, he hit everything you can imagine. my old car even once
after you mod enough it doesnt really matter what brand it is because nothing is stock. if you like the looks of it thats all that matters. you said you were going to do a t56, would that be a viper one? seems like you could put a small bock chev and turbo it and put a fbody t56 behind it. some of those need special flywheels though and they are like 800-1000 bucks for the conversion. you could get a truck 4.8/5.3/6.0 and use a fbody t56 with no weird custom parts just need hpt to tune it. that would be my choice those are getting cheap and can make a ton of power and still be relatively fuel efficient. just have to be able fab mounts

Yeah..not going to gm swap this lol. I can grab a t56 and change the bell housings to make it work with my sb chrysler. Tremec actually sells a kit for that. These are all long term plans. Just trying to get it road worthy again. I gotta finish up school and find a job. It'* looking like I'll be trying for a job at Union Pacific so hopefully I get it. Pay some bills off, finish the other projects, keep up with recurring bills, and let the insanity begin on this car.
Outstanding! My very first car was a brand new 1972 Plymouth Roadrunner, and my very first mid-life crisis car was another 1972 Plymouth Roadrunner that I bought and restored. Same basic car as your Satellite. They changed the front and rear bumpers because in 1973 the 5 mph bumper law went into effect and that wouldn't work with the wraparound bumpers of 1971-1972, but the rest of the car was essentially unchanged. Great car. Love this vintage of Mopar!

When I was looking at things to do to my 71 Plymouth Satellite, I ran across pictures of your blue car several times. That'* a beautiful car. I will some day own a 71-72 again. Those body lines cant be beat. I'm liking this car a lot. I got to drive it on the road last week and was in 7th heaven for awhile. I'm finding that MOPAR parts have only gone up in price since I was buying stuff for my 71 and the repros haven't gotten to 73-74 just yet. I figure by the time I get around to working on this car (gotta finish my Ram first) they will have started making parts again.
