Default Got a new toy/project

Got this little sweetheart of a car yesterday. It'* a 1974 Plymouth Satellite Sebring. Very little rust throughout, 360 4 bbl with a 3 spd auto. Not a bad starter project and it runs and somewhat drives.

Nice project ride! I had a car like that at one point in my life....mine had the 440 police interceptor motor in it, though....

Well, for now I just want to get it street legal again. After get my other projects where I will be happy with them, I'm thinking 408 Stroker, T56, and a narrowed ford 9" with 3.73 gears. Gonna paint it semi-gloss black with the red stripes and a roadrunner bulge hood. Tubular upper and lower control arms on the front with polygraphite bushings through out. I'm toying with throwing some turbos on for a little insanity, but the 408 will be pushing the 91 octane as it is and I want to be able to drive it on the street without problems.

The surprising thing about this car is there is almost no rust on it anywhere. Even where the vinyl top was there is no rust.

Josh I really believe you can turn that into a real sweet street performer with your plans!
Up on the lift how does it look? Frame and body mounts all look secure with no rust as well?

turbos? thats very un-mopar like attitude. i used to hang out with a guy who was into old mopars. they were always doing side business parting cars and restoring them. we called his place the mopar museum. his dad had am old wagon with a souped up 440, it was ridicules, funny though he wouldnt let my buddy have more than a 318 or 383 2brl in his old fury. he wasent a very good driver, he hit everything you can imagine. my old car even once
